Organizing my Home

I have had so much work lately…a very good thing since we are trying to save every penny for a new home! It’s partly due to Ann from A Holy Experience for mentioning Encouraging Wednesdays in her post! It was so sweet of her and I’m so blessed that she did! Thank you so much Ann!  🙂
But since I have been so busy…the house work has slacked, because let’s face it there’s no way I can be a full time designer, stay-at-home mom & house wife! Even when I don’t have a lot of design work, the twins alone are enough to push cleaning to the back burner. And with my husband super busy at work and not able to always pick up the slack I’m in need of a game plan!
So I remembered something that I had pinned a while ago on  my ideas.organization board “Weekly Cleaning Schedule”…finally a bit of organization to my life when it comes to the cleaning! 🙂 So my new challenge is sticking to this schedule, because let’s face it when my home is not organized and clean then I feel like leads into other parts of my life.
This schedule on Pinterest links to Krystal’s Kitsch but I couldn’t find it on her blog…so I recreated the schedule so it would display all nice and pretty on my fridge and since I LOVE my readers I’ve saved out a PDF for you to download too! 🙂

  • Jackie - Today I just started getting e-mails from the FLY LADY-http://flylady.net/( to help my little homemaker and I), is funny how just the encouragement and simple ideas get you going, my daughter loved the idea of cleaning 15 minutes at a time. Your cleaning schedule will be laminated and posted in my refrigerator, I love it! It is so pretty!

    Thanks !

  • apartments in hollywood - So I don’t have to feel burdened with all the house work especially since I’m also working, I’ve taught my children to clean up after their mess. I train them early on so they make de-cluttering a habit, washing plates, setting the table, etc. that I know they can manage to do. The heavy work falls on me and my spouse. Except perhaps when the children are older for more serious cleaning duties…ReplyCancel

  • Moons and Junes - just letting you know I passed this list along on my blog today. 🙂 I truly love it.ReplyCancel

  • Elizabeth - Hi there,I have been so blessed by your Encouraging Wednesdays printables and have been soaking up the Scripture. I saw this cleaning schedule and love the design. I have 5 kids and I have to be organized to make things run smoothly. This looks so much prettier than my tattered black and white schedule. However, my cleaning schedule is different than yours for various reasons. Any chance I could have a copy that I could tweak what I do on certain days? I know you are more than generous to share and I don’t mean to be picky! I could also order from you on etsy if that would be better!ReplyCancel

  • Lauren Heffner - Finally a cute printable schedule that leaves room for Sunday to be restful!! It is ridiculous how much I love these designs…….ReplyCancel
